Stockport is completely transforming its School Workforce website, which some of you have used.  The aim is to make the website more supportive of everybody who works in schools.  It hopes to provide access to training, interactive opportunities between schools, and lots of opportunities to exchange information and to collaborate locally, nationally and internationally.  It`s in the early stages of planning.  Development Governors heard about it at their Meeting this week, in a presentation by Julie Ryan of SMBC.  Julie is keen to

The new Learning Leads website (a total redevelopment of the current School Workforce website)  - is  designed to facilitate school improvement through school to school support and relies on the active involvement of schools and contributing providers. We believe there are many advantages for you to become involved as a governor and hope that the attached flyer gives you an idea of its potential use and value to you and your school for marketing as well as sharing resources and networking.
